Seller Agreement

This Seller Agreement supplements the Terms of Service and applies when you sell on Vaultly TCG, whether through fixed-price listings, timed auctions, offers or live shows.

1. Approval and verification

  • Selling requires an approved seller application. We may ask for more information and may decline applications at our discretion.
  • After approval you must complete identity, business and bank verification with our payment provider before you can receive payouts.
  • Livestream selling requires a separate approval and compliance with the Livestream Rules.
  • Sellers must keep two-factor authentication enabled.

2. Listing standards

  • Describe every item accurately, including its condition using Vaultly's condition scale, any defects, language, edition and set.
  • For graded items, state the grading company, grade and certificate number. Photos must show the actual item (or the actual slab), not stock images.
  • You must confirm that each item is authentic. Counterfeit, proxy, reprint or altered items must never be listed as genuine — see the Counterfeit Policy.
  • Do not list prohibited items.
  • You must have the item in your possession, or clearly state any pre-order date where pre-orders are permitted.

3. Commission

Commission is charged on the merchandise value of each completed sale (it is not charged on postage paid by the buyer). VAT is added to commission where applicable.

Your rate is set by your eligible completed sales in the previous platform-wide 28-day period, converted to GBP at the rate captured when payment was taken:

Previous 28-day sales (GBP) Commission
£0 – £9,999.99 6.99%
£10,000 – £19,999.99 5.79%
£20,000 – £34,999.99 5.59%
£35,000 – £49,999.99 5.39%
£50,000 – £64,999.99 5.19%
£65,000 – £84,999.99 4.99%
£85,000 + 4.79%
  • Reaching a threshold affects the next period only. It never reprices sales already made in the current or earlier periods.
  • A sale counts towards the period in which payment was captured. Orders cancelled before the period closes are excluded. Refunds issued after the period closes are recorded as adjustments in the period in which the refund happens.
  • When a sale is refunded, commission on the refunded merchandise is reversed proportionally.
  • We may update the tier schedule with at least 30 days' notice. New schedules apply from the start of a future period.

4. Payments and payouts

  • Buyers pay Vaultly's payment provider. Your share (sale price and postage collected, less commission, VAT on commission and any payment processing fee) is held until it becomes eligible for payout.
  • Funds normally become eligible after tracked dispatch is confirmed by the carrier, or on delivery. Sellers with a strong track record may qualify for faster payouts.
  • We may place a hold on funds where a dispute, return, chargeback or suspected fraud is open, or where required by law. We will show the reason for any hold in your payouts dashboard.
  • Chargebacks and Buyer Protection refunds decided against you may be recovered from your balance or future payouts.

5. Shipping

  • Ship within your stated handling time using a tracked service for orders above the value threshold shown in your shipping settings.
  • You choose where you ship. Domestic and international shipping are configured separately and you may allow or exclude specific countries. Buyers outside your shipping regions cannot purchase your items.
  • Package items securely (for example sleeves, top loaders or semi-rigid holders, and rigid mailers or boxes). Losses caused by inadequate packaging are your responsibility.
  • For live shows, use Finish stream and prepare orders to combine orders per buyer where possible.

6. Returns, cancellations and disputes

  • You must honour your stated returns policy and statutory rights. Items not as described must always be returnable.
  • Respond to buyer messages within 2 business days and to disputes within the time set out in the Dispute Procedure.

7. Performance and enforcement

We monitor late dispatch, cancellations, item-not-as-described rates and buyer feedback. Poor performance may lead to warnings, reduced visibility, loss of faster payouts, restrictions, suspension or removal. You can appeal decisions from your account.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for taxes on your sales and income. Where the law requires, Vaultly will collect and remit taxes on certain sales and report seller earnings to tax authorities.

9. Termination

You may stop selling at any time once open orders, disputes and payouts are settled. We may suspend or end your selling privileges for breach of this agreement or our policies.
